BOB Duallie Double Jogging Stroller Review:
Our Review:
If the main thing you want out of your stroller is that it’s easy to maneuver, then the BOB Revolution Duallie is your best choice. It’s billed as a jogging stroller, but jogging strollers are by far the easiest ones to push around. The Revolution has a swivel front wheel, and the fact that there’s only one front wheel makes turning effortless.
The Benefits:
- It’s effortless to maneuver and push- you’ll be able to push this around all day and zig-zag through construction cones
- It’s very easy to fold up and transport so that you don’t have to spend 10 extra minutes every time you get it out or put it in your vehicle
- Large canopies that will protect your kids from the sun and keep them comfortable, and they have a big peekaboo window that you can see your kids through
- The seats easily recline and reposition so that your kids can ride in comfort (and style of course, it’s a BOB)
- The very light 32 lb frame in combination with the front swivel wheel let’s you easily steer with one arm
- 3 inches of adjustable shock absorbers make the ride silky smooth for your kids no matter the terrain
- The under seat basket is huge and has room for all the snacks, toys, and tools you’ll ever need on an outing
- Everything is super high quality… again, it’s a BOB
- It’s very durable… it will stand the test of time and the test of your kids
- It has a fine-tune adjustment knob on the front wheel that will let you make small adjustments so that it tracks completely straight when running… if you’ve ever had a “sub-par” jogging stroller that pulled to one side this will be your favorite feature
- Again, the maneuvering… this thing is a dream to use “in the field”
Downsides:
- The seats are thinly padded- they might not be ideal for extra long rides
- The seats only incline to 70 degrees- they don’t go completely upright
- It’s pricey… it’s a BOB
- Accessories aren’t included
Actual owner reviews:
“LOVE this stroller…
…I’ll start with the seats: they have completely changed how the seats are designed. They are far more supportive and have these really nice cushion-like supports all over them. There’s even extra padding for a headrest. They sit at a much higher angle than previous models. There is even a lumbar support. The recline feature has also been revamped and is much simpler. No more buckling and unbuckling. The seat does not go completely flat, but it goes flat enough, even for an infant. Because of the change of design in the footrest area – there is actually more leg room. The 5 point harness is padded where it needs to be and easily adjustable. Something I especially like is they’ve added a little buckle at the top where the harness fastens to seat allowing you to move it higher or lower, depending…”
“I have to admit – this thing is nice…
…A couple years ago, I poured over many reviews and we ended up getting an Instep, which unfortunately wasted no time displaying all of the negative qualities that the reviews had warned me about.
I figured all the people raving about the $650 strollers did so merely because they wanted to self-justify their decision to spend such an exorbitant amount on a freakin stroller. So we tried in vain to make due with the clunky, squeaking, broken-grocery-cart-always-turning-left inferiority of the other brand. I didn’t want to admit that it so quickly deteriorated on me.
But now I’m convinced — from my experience with the BOB, and from looking at the prices of “premium” brands, a quality stroller just can’t be made and sold new for less than…
